I’m a creative director and photographer based in Miami, born and raised in the city. Growing up, I was surrounded by urban life and rarely had the chance to experience nature. Abandoned locations, which fascinated me, would quickly disappear to urban development. This transience influenced my creative journey and shaped the way I approach my work. Much of my photography is location-driven, capturing spaces that might soon be lost, preserving their memory—just like the sentiment behind my name.
In addition to my creative work, I serve as a full-time military photographer, which takes me across the U.S. and South America. At times, it feels like I live in two worlds, balancing my passion for art with the documentary demands of military reportage.
Every day, I strive to create a legacy through my work. As much as it may sound ambitious or pretentious, this desire to leave something lasting stems from a past life goal. I didn’t start out in photography—my first career was working for NASA as a plant scientist. I even joined the Air Force straight out of high school with the singular goal of working for NASA. The idea of contributing to research that would shape the future gave me a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
However, when my path with NASA didn’t unfold as I expected, I turned to the other passion that had always been a part of me—photography and videography. This is where I now focus my energy, determined to create meaningful work that, like my previous pursuits, will outlast me..
